Many of them roll the green eight-sided die, so a good roll wins a fight outright and a bad one leaves you exposed. Alchemists add a third axis. Their specials ask you to roll the eight-sided die against a target number, trading reliability for big effects. Master Scroll lets an Alchemist steal an opponent's back-card specials for the rest of the game, and Lethal Reach gives one of your cards +1 range for as long as it lives. Draft one Alchemist into a steady team for a surprise, or run a full Alchemist squad and let the dice decide.

Good to know

Requires the Master Set to play.

Pairs well with the Merchant Expansion; together they take the roster to 44 characters.

The Alchemist Special Index is on the How to Play page if a special needs a ruling.

Sold only on our website.
